I have experience as an instructor for over 7 years including 5 with the City of Edmonton. I have taught all age groups and levels, including Bronze Lifesaving Courses, and mentoring other instructors. I have swam competitively and for leisure. My teaching style is adaptable to your learning and your goals. You would be surprised what you are capable of! I am currently teaching because I enjoy it! Swimming is a lot of fun and is a great skill to continue to build on.

She is excellent with Luna and is a great instructor.
Tara-Lyn is an excellent instructor. She is very patient and detailed with Luna about the safety of swimming and being in the water. I would highly recommend Tara-Lyn to anyone!

Tara-Lyn was great!
Tara-Lyn wasted no time getting started on my daughter’s lesson. She had props with her and had my daughter comfortable in no time. Unfortunately the pool was very cold, so we will have to try another venue.

Tara-Lyn was welcoming and made my son feel comfortable instantly. Patient.

Where I Teach

This pool is very private and during your lesson you'll have it all to yourself! It's 3ft to 8ft deep and 35ft long—great for learning to swim! Inside the beautiful pool room covered in warm wood, you'll feel like you're on a relaxing vacation while you're here.
