Hi, I'm Amy! I am an experienced swim instructor having spent several years in the aquatic field between competitive swimming, instructing swimming and lifesaving classes, and lifeguarding. I have taught all age groups ranging from toddlers to older adults, including those with special needs. I will develop an individualized lesson plan to help you achieve your swimming goals, while providing ongoing feedback. My background with over 9+ years of competitive swimming experience has given me a keen eye for detail and identifying commonly missed errors. Using a variety of techniques including drills, on-land practice, and step-by-step demonstration, I am committed to supporting everyone in reaching their full potential, while having fun! So whether this is your first time in the water or you are looking to improve your speed and stroke, I look forward to creating new swimming memories and having a splashtastic time with you!

Great learning experience!
Amy is very knowledgeable and presented the appropriate swim skills by demonstration and clear instruction. She is lighthearted and encouraging without wasting time. She paced the lesson well and remained cognizant of my energy and progress. I learned a lot and enjoyed the process. Great instructor!
