Bilingual swim instructor (FR/EN) with 27 years teaching all ages; Swim for Life Instructor; head coach of Provincial Champion varsity team.
I grew up as a competitive swimmer across Canada and transitioned into lifeguarding, instructing, and high-level coaching. I've been teaching for now 27 years, covering Swim for Life skills and Learn to Swim programs for babies through adults across private and public programs in Vancouver.
I've developed my own method called the "Super Seal Swim Style," focused on comfort, floating, breathing, and moving through the water efficiently. Whether someone is learning to float for the first time or refining all four competitive strokes with dives and flip turns, I build lessons around confidence and fun.
Lessons begin with essential foundations: breath control, floating, gliding, rolling, and kicking. Building these core skills creates confidence, efficiency, and safety in the water while keeping learning enjoyable and fun. Once a strong foundation is established, instruction progresses to front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, or butterfly.
