About Julia K.

Swimming has been a part of my life since I was just a few months old, and that early connection to the water grew into a true passion. With 6+ years of experience as a certified swim instructor, I’ve had the opportunity to teach swimmers of all ages and skill levels at the YMCA, City of Toronto pools, and swim clubs. Whether it’s helping beginners feel safe and comfortable in the water, guiding young swimmers toward stronger techniques, or refining strokes for those looking to improve their endurance, I tailor each lesson to fit my students’ unique needs. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging, and structured learning environment where swimmers feel confident, motivated, and excited to improve. What I love most about teaching is seeing that moment when everything clicks—when a swimmer feels truly comfortable in the water or nails a skill they’ve been working on. I know that learning to swim can be intimidating at first, but I’m here to make it fun, encouraging, and completely at your pace. Whether you want to overcome a fear of water, get stronger, or just feel more at home in the pool, I’d love to help. Let’s get started and make swimming something you love, too!
