Riya was absolutely amazing with both my children. She has a very calm composure and made them feel at ease since lesson 1 They have progressed a lot in just a few lessons. If you have children who have a fear associated with swimming, I highly recommend Riya!

Was my daughter’s first time in lessons when starting with Riya. Riya is a mix of structured, firm and kind- a good combination. My daughter likes Riya and has shown so much progress in a short amount of time. Her confidence has grown a lot.

About Riya S.

I'm in my seventh year of coaching water safety. I've worked in large community pools with classes of six or more, as well as in private one-on-one lesson settings.

Teaching philosophy

My teaching style adapts to work with everyone, whether you're just starting out and learning the fundamentals or looking to perfect the fine details in your strokes. I've worked in both large community pool group classes and intimate private lesson settings, so I know how to adjust to what each swimmer needs.

Our warm indoor pool has everything you need to make your swimming experience comfortable and enjoyable. We've got a diving board, rope swing, private showers and comfy seating for parents who want to relax while they watch. Our changing room is separate from the rest room. And the water in our pool has varying depths: 3ft on one side and 10ft on another, perfect for going from beginner to deep water pro!
