Hey! My name is Dystany! I’m a private swim instructor and certified lifeguard with 8+ years of experience, teaching swim lessons across locations including Jamaica, Halifax, and Vancouver. My work spans all ages and abilities, and I specialize in supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other neurodiverse needs, as well as neurotypical swimmers. My approach is calm, patient, and highly adaptive. Whether you’re looking to overcome a fear of water, improve stroke technique, or gain strength through swim-based rehabilitation, I meet each swimmer where they’re at. I offer personalized lessons in swim fitness, stroke correction, rehab, and beginner swimming etc—helping every client build confidence and safety in the water at their own pace. My goal is simple: to make the water a safe, empowering, and fun space for everyone.
This bright saltwater pool in Mississauga’s Dixie area offers the ideal setup for swim lessons. With a shallow stairway entry that helps beginners ease into the water and a longer length than most pools for practicing distance, this pool supports swimmers at every stage. Natural light fills the space, creating a calm, open atmosphere, and the hot tub adds comfort for students winding down and receiving feedback at the end of their session.
Pool access details are provided after you book.
