My journey in swimming began at just four years old, and I’ve been drawn to the water ever since. What started as a childhood passion grew into a lifelong pursuit, leading me to compete—and succeed—in numerous national and international competitions. In 2006, I discovered fin swimming and quickly found my strength as a sprint specialist, embracing the discipline with full dedication. Some of my proudest achievements include winning a gold medal at the 2011 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games and being recognized as one of the top swimmers in the National University League in 2013. With over 20 years in the sport, I’ve developed strong freestyle and butterfly techniques, along with explosive speed in fin swimming. After retiring from competitive swimming in 2015, I transitioned into coaching. I spent a year working with competitive athletes at a swim club in Singapore before returning home, and later continued coaching with a competitive swim club in Vancouver. I now have five years of coaching experience in Vancouver, where I’ve had the privilege of working with swimmers of all levels. No matter the setting, my goal remains the same: to make every lesson meaningful, motivating, and enjoyable. Outside the pool, I’m passionate about sports—especially water-based activities—and I enjoy exploring new places and relaxing with a good game. Thank you, and I hope to see you in the pool!
