Swim lessons with Zeca V.

Zeca is a great swimming instructor. He shows you how to move and explains why. He spends time getting to know your child, what they like, what they are good at and what they need to work on. He also makes room for fun like making a double vortex and splashing in a gentle way. He is very friendly and is good at keeping kids focused on the lesson.

My son has been taking weekly lessons with Zeca for 5 months now. Zeca is a strong swimmer who used to swim competitively (I won't name drop but he has trained with a Canadian Olympian). Not only is Zeca a great swimmer, he's also a great teacher. My son's swimming has improved drastically over the last 5 months. I won't go into the details of all he's learned but he went from a solid Lifesaving Society Swimmer 3 to Swimmer 5/6 (he did a swimming test at our local community centre and they said his front crawl was a solid Swimmer 6 but the other strokes were at Swimmer 5). Still amazing progress for the 4 months of lessons, at the time of the assessment. And I can see why. Zeca is great with kids. He knows how to motivate them. He uses games, challenges and rewards to get them to learn new skills and push through new boundaries (he got my son to tread water for 6 minutes). But my son has sooooo much fun throughout the lesson. He loves and looks up to Zeca. Zeca is also great at communication and generous with his time, which is awesome for parents who are interested in their children's progress. What more could you ask for in a swimming instructor??

Zeca was a great instructor! He knew exactly what to teach and adjusted to my capabilities. He is also very outgoing and easy to understand. I will definitely take lessons from him again!
