My boys have had a few lessons with Natalie. They really look forward to the lessons, and they are making great progress in the pool. Highly recommend!

About Natalie D.

I have been with the City of Vancouver for around 6 years where I have taught swimming and lifeguarded. I have a background in competitive swimming and I love the water. I love teaching all ages and abilities, but especially little ones. I am fluent in french as I attended french immersion and I recently moved to Toronto, Ontario after finishing up my degree in Vancouver, B.C. I love finding creative ways to teach lessons so each child feels confident in their own abilities. I have also run adult fitness programs where I write out lesson sets and do hands on work for stroke correction. My history in competitive swimming gives me a background in technique and I love finding different ways to explain skills and drills. I have a background in both Red Cross and Lifesaving Swim lessons as well as private lessons. I was a head guard at outdoor pools and beaches across Vancouver and my number one priority with any lesson is safety.
