About Karen F.
I've spent a lifetime in and around the water — jumping off the dock on my own from age 5. I have over 8 years of professional aquatics experience as a swim instructor, lifeguard, and in leadership roles for instructor development at YMCA Calgary and True Blue Swim School.
Teaching philosophy
I meet you where you're at and help build skills and confidence one step at a time. I guarantee a safe, non-judgmental space, genuine patience, and real results. I would never make anyone feel rushed or like they can't ask questions. If something feels overwhelming, we can pause and talk it through.

Delta Hotels Calgary Southland Atrium
Located within the serene hotel atrium, this inviting pool is the perfect destination for budding young swimmers taking their first plunge into the world of water. Please note that due to the shape of this pool, it is not ideal for advanced swimmers or swimmers looking to swim laps.
