Hi, I'm Sarah! I’m a prior swimming instructor with the City of Calgary and an NCCP Artistic Swimming Coach (formerly synchronized swimming) with 15 years experience as a coach and 10+ years as a competitive artistic swimmer myself. I have experience teaching anyone, and any age, but I especially enjoy working with children. I love having fun and ensuring kids feel engaged, comfortable and safe in the water, all the while tailoring my lessons to their unique goals whether it be stroke improvement, building endurance or water safety. Additionally, I’m a registered nurse, with experience in both acute care and primary care, and a mom to 3 amazing kids that I adore!

Sarah is amazing
Sarah has been teaching our kids since August 2024. We do lessons 2-3 times a month. Since then, both our girls have progressed from not being able to be in the water without us supporting them to independently diving for sinky toys, learning front and back crawl and jumping into the water comfortably and safely! She makes both my kids feel safe and comfortable and encourages and assures them when they resist trying something new. One of our daughters can be quite particular about teachers, but she instantly warmed up to Sarah on day one. Every hour lesson with her is 100% worth it. We'll continue to attend lessons with Sarah until our girls no longer need them or she's no longer offering them (which I hope doesn't happen 🤞)

Great instructor
Sarah is an incredible instructor who is able to get through to my highly sensitive child. We highly recommend her as she is a great swimming instructor.

Great Lesson!
Sarah did a wonderful job teaching my 4 year old. He was engaged the whole time and had a ton of fun while working on his skills. He enjoyed himself so much that on the way home he told me he would only do swim lessons with Coach Sarah from here on out. Thanks again!

Located within the serene hotel atrium, this inviting pool is the perfect destination for budding young swimmers taking their first plunge into the world of water. Please note that due to the shape of this pool, it is not ideal for advanced swimmers or swimmers looking to swim laps.
