Andrea’s patience is on another level—she never rushes you and always finds a way to keep you calm and confident in the water. She understands how water behaves, how the body reacts to it, and how to keep you safe while still pushing you to progress. What stands out most is her adaptability. She pays attention to what you need in the moment and adjusts instantly—techniques, pace, equipment, everything. She uses helpful props when you need them and slowly removes them as you get stronger, so every step feels natural instead of intimidating. She’s incredibly encouraging and brings so much positive energy to every session. Her cheerful attitude makes you feel like you can accomplish anything you commit to. She makes swimming fun, safe, and empowering.

As an middle aged woman who had barely set foot in a pool in my life, I decided it was time to learn how to swim. Andrea was a perfect fit for me as a teacher -she is non judgmental, patient, and explains things very well. There's a good reason why she is always booked up. Highly recommend!

Andrea did AMAZING with both my kids! She kept them both engaged and having fun the whole time! My son went from only jumping in the water to real swimming in one lesson!!! My daughter asked why she learned so much more than the other lessons she’s done. We are beyond impressed!!

Andrea is teaching our grand-daughter Ella, to swim. She has had two lessons and is really enjoying them because Andrea is so patient and inspiring. Ella really looks forward to her lessons and can hardly wait for the next one.

I love the time being spent with Andrea as her approach to swimming is calming and easy. I used to be terrified of the water but after a few lessons, I'm excited to show up and continue to make progress! Would definitely recommend!

Andrea was great for my first adult swim lesson. We worked on fundamentals to improve my stroke form. Was very helpful. Looking forward to another lesson soon.

About Andrea L.

Swimming is a very important life skill. I’m very proud of you for taking the first step in your swimming journey by coming here. Whether you’re a parent looking to get your child comfortable in the water, a parent learning to swim or an adult who wants to swim better, welcome! My passion is to teach ones to have a love of the water and enjoy themselves. Taking their skills to their local pool, the lake or a beach vacay. Using my 5+ years of lifeguarding and teaching experience to help you feel calm in the water and glide through instead of fighting the water. A word you won’t hear in my class is “can’t” because you can! You’re learning, trying and improving with each lesson. It brings a huge smile to my face when I can see after each lesson someone becoming more comfortable with the water. When little ones going from barely leaving the side of the pool, to then putting their face in the water and excitingly jumping in when playing games and having fun. Is there anything better?! As adults we can feel insecure and uncomfortable in the water. Even if we’ve taken swim lessons when younger but unfortunately lost the confidence as an adult. Having an instructor makes it less frustrating then trying to figure it out on your own. Swimming is a great low impact exercise. Great cross-training and warm in the cold winter months. When you have the basics down, you have the foundation to tweak and be as good as you want. Keeping the sport fun and never boring! Anyways, I could go on and on why swimming is great but you need to find that out for yourself. If you’re looking for a positive teacher and custom lesson plans to help you gain the skills you want, well I guess I will be seeing you at the pool soon!
