Klarissa is a wonderful instructor! She has helped my daughter feel more comfortable in water by engaging her in fun & educational play. She’s very patient and has a lot of variety in her lessons.

Brought my 7 year old daughter in who at the time was scared to jump in the pool, couldn’t swim at all and had general fear of the water. Since working with Klarissa for the pas few months, everything has changed. She can swim, dolphin kick and she is no longer scared. Klarissa took the time to show her each step and worked through everything with my daughter. Highly recommend.

Klarissa is excellent at tailoring her teaching approach to match each child's swimming level. She connects with my toddler really well, adapting the lessons based on how they're feeling that day. She doesn’t force anything; instead, she works patiently with her until she becomes comfortable. My daughter absolutely loves her swimming lessons and has made great progress with the one-on-one sessions, especially compared to group lessons. On top of that, scheduling with her is really convenient, which makes it even easier to keep up with the lessons.

My three year old son’s first lesson with Klarissa went great! He was engaged for the full hour and Klarissa created the perfect balance of fun and learning. She also made sure he understood how important safety is, which is a priority for us at his age.

My daughter is 6 and has had 2 lessons with Klarissa. She is great with her, super patient and it’s been amazing to see the progression in just 2 lessons. Would highly recommend these lessons to anyone.

A typical first lesson

At the start of my lessons, I like to understand what the goals are for the swimmer so I can make sure they get the best out of my classes. I then evaluate the person’s swim abilities to make sure I am completely aware of where we need to start building their confidence in the water. Once that’s established, we work towards their goals.
