Hi! Whether you or your child are brand-new to swimming, looking to get faster, or want to add a stroke to your repertoire, I would love to work with you. I've been teaching swimming lessons full-time for over a year. I've also been teaching active pursuits my whole life! I coached Tae-kwon do in high school, and taught climbing, winter camping, mountaineering, and ice climbing through university. In September, I'll be starting a second degree in education. I love teaching! For coaching, I've found that people see a lot of improvement when focusing on core mechanics and awareness of their bodies in the water. Of course, for the little ones, it's often most important to have a great game or song! I also love triathlons, and I completed an Ironman in 2021. It would be great to help you progress your swimming so you're confident taking your swimming outdoors for long training swims.

The Best Swim Buddy for My 2.5-Year-Old!

Effective Rust removal
400m/12min the next day! Took a class with Riley as an adult learner with rusty form with 20 years of VERY bad habits- ingrained since my last swimming lessons as a kid. Practising the form checks at my pool the next day: I shaved a good minute off my front crawl time and feel I can pass the Bronze Medallion I have booked!
