After not swimming in any deep water since my teens, I wanted to regain my confidence in the water and relearn a few basic swimming strokes. Alyssa was very patient, and helpful in this regard.

My child, who is under 3 years old, had his very first swim lesson with Alyssa today, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He had no previous swim experience and had hardly spent any time in the water before, so I was understandably nervous about how he would adjust. Alyssa was incredibly kind, patient, and supportive throughout the lesson. She took the time to understand my child's needs and comfort level, creating a positive and encouraging environment from the moment we arrived. Her gentle approach helped him feel safe and comfortable in the water much sooner than I expected. It was clear that Alyssa genuinely cares about the children she teaches and knows how to build trust and confidence at their own pace. Seeing my child smiling and engaged during his very first lesson was wonderful. I am so grateful for Alyssa's professionalism, patience, and warmth, and I look forward to continuing lessons with her. I would highly recommend her to any parent looking for a caring and skilled swim instructor.

Teaching philosophy
