I booked a session with Metzery to work on my front crawl, a stroke I could do as a kid but forgot after many years of not swimming. She was able to help me figure out the problem areas and give me some exercises and tips to work on my technique. She was also very friendly and accommodating. Based on her help during our session and subsequent practice on my own, I've gone from not being able to do a full length of front crawl to relatively comfortably doing a couple of lengths at a time. Thanks again Metzery. :)

She has been very patient with me so far . Would recommend for absolute beginners like me . She has a reasoning for every technique that she teaches

About Metzery D.

With over a decade of experience teaching swimming lessons, I am passionate about helping children overcome their fear of water and learn to swim with confidence. I also teach Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross classes, as well as adults, always tailoring my approach to meet each swimmer’s unique needs. My journey in swimming began when I was 18 as part of a swim team, and my love for the water and working with people has only grown stronger over the years. Adults My adult swimming lessons are specially designed to help individuals overcome their fear of water and build confidence at their own pace. I create a personalized lesson plan for each swimmer, tailored to their unique goals—whether it’s learning to float, improving endurance, or mastering specific strokes. With a patient and approachable teaching style, I focus on making every swimmer feel comfortable and supported in the water. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your technique, I provide step-by-step guidance to help you develop new, efficient swimming techniques. Children My swimming lessons for kids are built around safety, fun, and trust, creating a positive and encouraging environment where young swimmers can thrive. I tailor each lesson to match your child’s comfort level and individual learning pace, helping them develop confidence in the water while having fun. Whether they’re just starting out or ready to learn new strokes, I focus on proper technique and gradual skill-building, always keeping their safety as the top priority. With a patient and approachable teaching style, I work to earn each child’s trust, making swimming a joyful and empowering experience from the very first splash.
