About Katherine L.
I'm Katherine, and I've been a lifeguard and swim instructor for 10 years. What drives me most is watching people improve and reach their goals. I hold a certification as a Therapeutic Recreational Therapist Specialist, and I'm privileged to work with a wide range of individuals, including those with disabilities or neurodiversity.
Teaching philosophy
I love helping people of all ages feel safe, confident, and excited in the water. As a certified Therapeutic Recreational Therapist Specialist, I have experience working with individuals of all abilities, including those who are neurodiverse or have disabilities, and I bring that knowledge into every one-on-one lesson.

Your child’s first swim lesson is fun, engaging, and focused on safety from the very start. I begin by getting to know your child and assessing their comfort and skill level in the water.
