Hi! My name is Lindsay. With six years of experience as a certified Head Lifeguard, Swim for Life, and Lifesaving instructor, I bring extensive expertise teaching all age groups and abilities. My teaching philosophy emphasizes learning through play, encouraging students to develop and grow at their own pace while embracing challenges. Outside of teaching, I enjoy pursuing my hobby as a mermaid enthusiast. If you have a little one eager to try out a mermaid tail(bring your own), I offer structured lessons on how to safely wear and use the tail in water. Additionally, if you're preparing for bronze courses or aiming to excel in your national lifeguard certification, I provide focused practice on life-saving skills to ensure readiness for your upcoming assessments.

Located in the heart of Port Moody, just moments from the skytrain with ample street parking is a warm, family friendly pool perfect for children learning to swim and adults looking to advance their skills. The shallow side has a ladder for entry and is great for young children and beginning swimmers at 3 feet deep. A subtle slope leading to the deepest part of the pool at 8 feet is great to practice more advanced skills. With a brand new heater installed, the pool is kept at 86F (30C) perfect for those just learning to swim. We have a newly renovated bathroom right off the pool deck and pool deck changing pods for those who want to change quick before and after lessons. Shower available upon request.
