SwimSwim lessons with Dahlia M.

My two daughters, 6 and 10 are currently taking lessons with Dahlia. She is a great instructor, and has patients with the kids. They have both enjoyed their lessons and are improving each time. The pool is perfect for beginners learning how to swim. We will continue our lessons with Dahlia and I highly recommend her.

Dahlia is a great instructor. Patient, encouraging, knowledgeable and personable. I always feel comfortable swimming with her and I leave every lesson feeling like I’ve made some progress.

Today was my first 1‑on‑1 private swimming lesson with Dahlia, and it was exactly what I needed. I went in with only a little confidence and comfort in the water, but she immediately made me feel relaxed and supported. Before we even started, she asked about my personal swim goals, listened closely, and tailored the entire session around what I hope to accomplish. Her teaching style is calm, clear, and incredibly informative. She explains each step in a way that makes everything feel achievable, and you can tell she genuinely cares about helping you improve. As the lesson progressed, my confidence kept growing, something I haven’t felt in a long time when it comes to swimming. Dahlia is a great teacher, patient and encouraging, and she creates an environment where you feel safe to learn and push yourself. I’m already looking forward to the next lesson.
