My daughter ( 9 yo) had multiple private lessons with different coaches in different facilities. They are all good, but I found coach Chris is outstanding. My daughter has been having issues with her kicks when doing breastrokes for a while but she could not really get what other coaches' instructions well enough to correct her kicks. After assessment by coach Chris, he quickly identified the issue. Most importantly, he taught her in a way that she could follow easily and I noticed the improvement right away. With more practices, I believe she will be better. Thank you coach Chris.

We are very happy with our preschooler son's progress even after just two swim lessons with Chris. He makes learning the fundamentals fun and motivating, creating achievable challenges to help our son build confidence and become more comfortable in the water. Our son is becoming less fearful of wetting his head. On the second lesson his younger cousin joined him and both kids had a blast. We would definitely recommend Chris as an instructor.

Chris was able to build and preserve trusting relationships with both of my autistic kids. He created safe and fun environment to cooperate with him and engage. He is a mature and dynamic instructor. I definitely will book another lesson with him.

Chris was able to quickly assess my level as an adult learner and give me drills that helped build my skill and confidence. I’m looking forward to continue learning with him.

About Chris L.

Hi! My name is Chris and I have been involved in aquatics for over 18 years. My experience in aquatics ranges from being a lifeguard and swim instructor to coaching summer and winter swim clubs. I have taught varying age groups from infants to seniors, including working with the adaptive population. I also have experience in both the Red Cross and Lifesaving Society swimming programs. I also have experience instructing bronze course and am in the process of taking my National Lifeguard instructor trainer course in order to teach National Lifeguard Pool and Waterpark option. My experience in Kinesiology also has also provided me the knowledge to assist with adapted or rehabilitation exercises in the water. As an instructor & coach my goal is to ensure that we not only work on the skills you would like to learn. If you're would like to work on a specific skill, 1 on 1 support, new to swimming and wanting to get into the water or improve your swimming endurance, I would be happy to help and ensure you have a positive and fun experience.
