French Immersion teacher and high school swim coach by day, swimming instructor/tutor by night, and waterfront lifeguard in the summer!
I grew up on the west coast in, on, and around the water! I’ve always loved to swim and was a team swimmer through elementary and high school. After high school I became a lifeguard/instructor at the UBC Aquatic Centre while working on my BA and BEd, and began lifeguarding on Vancouver’s beautiful city beaches in the summer!
I love making swimming fun and accessible for everyone! Whether it’s your first time in the water or you’re training for your next big race. I love using games with aims to teach young swimmers, building technique through drills and progressions for older swimmers, and I also have experience teaching adapted lessons.
During our first lesson we will chat about your goals. Whether they be getting used to the water for the very first time, working to move through the Lifesaving Society levels, or learning techniques so that you can achieve big training goals, I’m all ears!
A hidden neighborhood retreat, this bright indoor pool feels like a mini getaway. Sunlight pours through the large panel doors along one end, lighting up the sparkling blue water while giving swimmers a fun peek at the outdoors. The pool's gentle stair entry is perfect for toddlers easing into the water, and the gradual depth and long length allow everyone from beginners to confident swimmers to practice at their own pace. Just steps away, a newly renovated restroom, shower, and changing room make getting ready easy for parents juggling towels and goggles. Warm lighting, fresh facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere come together to create a safe, cheerful space where families and individuals can build skills, confidence, and happy memories in the water.
Pool access details are provided after you book.
