About Kirra T.

Hello!! My name is Kirra and I’ve been working in the field for over 3 years now! My love for swimming started very young at age 6, when I first joined competitive swimming. I swam competitively for ten years, making it to the BC summer games and qualifying for the Western Canada championship. I want to share my love for not only the amazing sport itself, but I also want to emphasize the importance of swimming as a life skill. I am currently studying at Simon Fraser University to become an elementary school teacher. So far, I’ve learnt a lot about child development, teaching pedagogy and styles as well as unique ways to adapt lessons for the variety of students we see today. One of my biggest passions in life is seeing kids thrive in a learning environment, whether that be in the pool or in a classroom. I will make sure that each client feels comfortable with the skills we are aiming to do and I will adapt my lessons accordingly:) I will provide detailed outlines of what is expected during a private lesson and encourage clients to make it clear what they want to work on. Whether you’re new to swimming or want to perfect a certain skill, I’m here to help you along the way ! Kirra :)

Where I teach

Surrey Panorama Ridge

30-31°C · 45ft long · 3ft to 10ft deep

A hidden neighborhood retreat, this bright indoor pool feels like a mini getaway. Sunlight pours through the large panel doors along one end, lighting up the sparkling blue water while giving swimmers a fun peek at the outdoors. The pool's gentle stair entry is perfect for toddlers easing into the water, and the gradual depth and long length allow everyone from beginners to confident swimmers to practice at their own pace. Just steps away, a newly renovated restroom, shower, and changing room make getting ready easy for parents juggling towels and goggles. Warm lighting, fresh facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere come together to create a safe, cheerful space where families and individuals can build skills, confidence, and happy memories in the water.

Pool access details are provided after you book.
