Learn to Swim with an Experienced Instructor:
With over 20 years of teaching experience, I specialize in helping swimmers of all ages and abilities feel confident, capable, and safe in the water while building strong, efficient technique from the very beginning. I have taught extensively under both the Red Cross and Lifesaving Society programs and hold advanced certifications, including Lifesaving Instructor (Bronze levels, First Aid & CPR), National Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, Swim Instructor Trainer, Examiner, and Aquatic Supervisor.
Swimming is more than a skill, it’s a lifesaving, confidence-building ability. I work with infants through seniors, from complete beginners who may feel anxious in the water to experienced swimmers looking to refine technique or train competitively. Whether you’re fearful, hesitant, or already love being in the pool, I meet you exactly where you are and help you progress with care, intention, and precision.
As a mother and lifelong swimmer, my goal is to help each swimmer build a positive, lifelong relationship with the water. Lessons are always safe, supportive, developmentally appropriate, and fun. By focusing on proper body position, breath control, and efficient movement, swimmers notice meaningful improvements in confidence, comfort, and skill within their first lesson.
Progress Faster with Technique-Focused, Personalized Instruction:
Every swimmer receives an individualized lesson plan based on comfort level, learning style, goals, and ability. I offer highly personalized, hands-on instruction designed to build proper technique and confidence as efficiently as possible. Skills are taught using a clear progression approach, broken down into simple, manageable steps so learning feels achievable and encouraging.
I teach in the water with you, using a hands-on approach that allows me to make immediate corrections and adjustments. This method supports faster learning, stronger muscle memory, and quicker results compared to observation only instruction.
To maximize progress, each lesson ends with a brief recap and exercises to work on between sessions, both in and out of the water. You’ll also have access to my guidance between lessons, so support doesn’t stop when the lesson ends.
If you’re ready to cut the learning curve in half, build confidence, and swim with better technique and efficiency in fewer lessons, I’d love to meet you at the pool.
I look forward to swimming with you and helping you achieve your goals!
