Swim lessons with Raiyana A.

Swimming has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Throughout my life, I have developed love for the sport by being a part of a swim club, and participating in synchronized swimming. My experience in the swimming field is extensive. In the past 6 years, I have worked for multiple organizations as a swim instructor, including the West Vancouver Recreation Centre, Pedalheads Swim, and Canucks Autism Network. Additionally, I have taught private swim lessons at individual residences - I have experience teaching infants, adolescents, adults, and individuals with disabilities. As each swimmer has a different background in the sport, I cater each lesson to the specific individual, by finding out what works for them and how they learn best. Most importantly, I aim to create an environment where participants can develop confidence, learn new skills, and have a positive experience in the water.
