The lesson with Sierra was very productive. She listened to my goals, assessed my abilities, and helped me to correct kick propulsion and control issues. Planning to have her help me again.

Sierra did an amazing job with my daughter.. in her first lesson she went from wanting to plug her nose putting her face in the water to beginning the front crawl! PLus, my daughter had fun too! A great first lesson- I will be scheduling a follow up soon!

Super friendly and knowledgeable - warm and welcoming but also made sure to use every minute of the lesson to teach. I can't believe there could be such noticeable improvements in my teenage daughter's progress, in only one hour! Booking more lessons.

About Sierra P.

I am back for more swimming milestones for you or your family! If you don’t know me yet: My background comes from swim club and as a synchronized swimmer. I truly love the water and love sharing my passion with my students. I actively teach through Red Cross and Lifesaving Society programs teaching beginners in the water to advanced leadership programs and everything in between. My lessons are always adaptable to your wants and needs. We can follow a set program or focus on a skill or stroke you have been working on. I love teaching all ages, babies, preschool, swim kids, and adults. With over 1000+ students, being a mom, an instructor trainer and my years of teaching experience since 2008 I have gained lots of tips and tricks under my belt to get your or your little swimmer to where they need to be. My teaching style is calm, patient, lots of feedback (if you don’t know the error how will we correct it?), I focus on the mechanics of swimming and the why we do it. I give my students the push and drive they need when I see they are ready. It’s always a weight off my students shoulders knowing they are trying a new or repeating skill in a super safe learning environment catered to their needs. They walk away with a sense of accomplishment “I just did something I thought I never would”. This is what I strive for in my students swim journey and watching this success is a pure gem. Current certifications held: LSS: Swim Instructor Swim Instructor Trainer National Lifeguard ( pool, waterpark- not current/ waterfront, surf) National Lifeguard Instructor Lifesaving Instructor Lifesaving Instructor Trainer Red Cross: First Aid Instructor (Core, Psychological and Professional disciplines) First Aid Instructor Trainer

With 5 lanes and 20 metres of pool to work with, this facility is amazing for intermediate to advanced swimmers looking to improve their distance and endurance as well as confidence in deep water. For new or first time triathletes, this pool is also an amazing and private coaching facility. Located in an easily accessible residential neighbourhood with free parking. Please note that since only 1 lane is available for Propel lesson use, if 2 lessons are occurring, the lane will need to be shared. This location will be unavailable for lessons from June 29 to September 4, 2026.
