About Novica S.

Hi, I'm Novica. Swimming has been a part of my life for over 17 years. As a former competitive swimmer and swim instructor with more than 10 years of teaching experience in Indonesia and over 3 years in Canada, I have had the opportunity to work with swimmers from diverse backgrounds, ages, abilities, and skill levels. I believe swimming is more than just a sport—it is an essential life skill that builds confidence, resilience, independence, and water safety. My goal is to create a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment where every swimmer feels welcome, respected, and encouraged to succeed. I teach swimmers of all ages, from young children taking their first steps in the water to adults looking to improve their confidence, technique, fitness, or overall swimming ability. I also have experience working with swimmers with diverse learning needs and abilities, adapting lessons to support each individual's goals and learning style. My lessons are tailored to each swimmer and are built on both the Lifesaving Society curriculum in Canada and my extensive competitive swimming and coaching experience. By combining proven teaching standards with practical swimming knowledge, I help swimmers develop strong fundamentals, proper technique, water safety skills, and confidence in the water. Whether you are overcoming a fear of water, learning to swim for the first time, preparing for advanced levels, or refining competitive techniques, I will support and encourage you every step of the way. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing swimmers achieve something they once thought was impossible. I believe every swimmer can succeed when given the right guidance, patience, and opportunity to learn at their own pace. I look forward to helping you build confidence, develop lifelong swimming skills, and enjoy your journey in the water. Swimming its fun! Seeyou in the pool ! 🌊🧜‍♂️🏊
