Highly recommend these swimming classes! In just 3 classes, I’ve have become better with my fear of water and discovered what I’m truly capable of doing. Novica is super patient and encouraging—she has my husband and I try different techniques to see what works best for us, offers great personalized tips and tricks, and makes sure we get plenty of practice. I’ve gained so much confidence!

We had a wonderful experience with Novica. She was encouraging, patient, and supportive throughout every lesson. We’ve noticed great progress in my daughter’s swimming ability. She can now swim for much longer periods of time and has gained so much confidence in the water. We really appreciate how the Novica made each lesson enjoyable while motivating her to keep improving. Had a great first lesson with Novica! As someone new to swimming, I really appreciated how patient, encouraging, and clear the instruction was. After just one lesson, I feel much more confident in the water and, for the first time, confident that I can definitely finish my first 70.3. Looking forward to continuing the lessons!

About Novica S.

I'm certified as a lifeguard and swimming instructor, experience teaching both 1-on-1 lessons and group swimming programs in the private and public sector in Calgary. I work with swimmers from diverse backgrounds, ages, abilities, and skill levels, from young children taking their first steps in the water to adult overcoming their fear of swimming.

A typical first lesson

We’ll start by discussing your swimming experience, goals, and comfort in the water. Then, we’ll assess your skills and focus on techniques that match your needs. After your first lesson, you’ll receive a personalized plan and report based on the Canadian Lifesaving Society curriculum, including skills learned and next goals.

Located within the serene hotel atrium, this inviting pool is the perfect destination for budding young swimmers taking their first plunge into the world of water. Please note that due to the shape of this pool, it is not ideal for advanced swimmers or swimmers looking to swim laps.
