Swim lessons with Alex S.

Big shout out to Alex S. As a “mature student” Alex demonstrated patience and clarity. He’s a real teacher and I felt myself learning a lot, really progressing. Highly recommended!!

As a mid-40s intermediate swimmer (comfortable in the water, messy form made me tire easily and sore) working with Alex S has been a fantastic experience. His methodical, patient, and adaptive approach broke my stroke down piece by piece, and his passion and commitment to getting the details right made all the difference. By the end of my first class, my body already felt more comfortable, moved more smoothly, and made faster time across the lap pool. I couldn’t recommend him more.

Alex is not only patient and encouraging, but very creative and able to rethink how he approaches lessons on the spot to deal with particular problems faced by students. He is very good at explaining movements and breaking them down into smaller parts that are digestible, which is very helpful for an adult learner like me who struggles to imitate motions based on sight alone. Definitely recommended.
