I've had a few lessons, and it was really great. When I started, I didn't realise how much I was afraid of water until I came face-to-face with it; however, Isaiah was really patient and helped me get comfortable and practice some basics. I’m now able to sink in, front and back floats, gliding, and a few other techniques. Super grateful for his which helped me get build some confidence in a pool.

I had a great experience learning with Isaiah. As a complete beginner, I was quite nervous in the water, but he helped me build my confidence step by step. After just three sessions, I was able to float, which was a big milestone for me. His teaching approach is very patient, encouraging, and supportive. After six sessions, I feel much more confident in the water and comfortable practicing on my own. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants to learn how to swim or improve their confidence in the water.

I've had the opportunity to do several classes with Isaiah. As an adult, who wants to build confidence in the water, Isaiah was the perfect instructor. We identified what my goals were and then Isaiah tailored a plan for me. He pushed me in a positive way during my sessions. Even after just a few sessions I've felt more confident than ever and noticed that I've been growing with each session. Isaiah also honed in on several mistakes I was making and gave me concrete ways of how to improve. I would highly recommend Isaiah!

I can’t recommend Isaiah enough. As a beginner, I came in unsure of myself, but Isaiah immediately created an environment where I felt supported and challenged at the same time. He consistently pushed me beyond what I thought I was capable of, while never losing sight of encouragement and care. What really stands out is how dedicated he is to improvement. He has a sharp eye for identifying exactly what needs work and takes the time to address it in a structured, thoughtful way. In just a month and a half, I’ve noticed a real difference in my stamina and confidence in the water—progress I honestly didn’t expect so soon. Isaiah is organized, intentional, and genuinely pleasant to learn from. You can tell he truly cares about his students’ growth. Training with him has been both challenging and rewarding, and I’m very grateful for his guidance.

Isaiah is a fantastic instructor. I signed up for an olympic distance triathlon not being able to complete the swimming portion but with each session with Isaiah I gain more confidence that I'll be able to finish it with ease. Isaiah patiently answers my questions and provides feedback that instantly improves my technique. Highly recommend Isaiah to anyone who is looking to learn how to swim or take it to the next level.

A typical first lesson

We'll start with a brief conversation about your experience, goals, and comfort level in the water. From there, I'll assess key skills such as breathing, floating, balance, and propulsion.
