Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m an advanced swimming instructor with over 20 years of swimming experience and nearly a decade of teaching experience. Since 2016, I’ve supported children and teens in developing strong, confident swim skills through a thoughtful blend of Red Cross Swim Kids, Lifesaving Society, and private swim school methodologies. I specialize in working with neurodiverse swimmers and individuals with alternative learning and physical abilities. My lessons are adaptive, individualized, and rooted in trust, structure, and positive reinforcement—because meaningful progress happens when learners feel safe, understood, and supported. My goal is to help each swimmer build competence, confidence, and independence in the water while honoring their unique strengths and learning style. Please note: I currently teach children and teens only to maintain a focused and supportive learning environment. I look forward to working with you and supporting your child’s swimming journey!
Located in the heart of Port Moody, just moments from the skytrain with ample street parking is a warm, family friendly pool perfect for children learning to swim and adults looking to advance their skills. The shallow side has a ladder for entry and is great for young children and beginning swimmers at 3 feet deep. A subtle slope leading to the deepest part of the pool at 8 feet is great to practice more advanced skills. With a brand new heater installed, the pool is kept at 86F (30C) perfect for those just learning to swim. We have a newly renovated bathroom right off the pool deck and pool deck changing pods for those who want to change quick before and after lessons. Shower available upon request.
Pool access details are provided after you book.
