4 years of experience as a lifeguard and swim instructor, having taught all ages from toddlers to adults.
Hi, my name is Misho, and I am very passionate about teaching people how to swim because it opens so many avenues in your personal life. The things I love most in life involve swimming, such as freediving, scuba diving, spearfishing, and snorkeling. I also love to teach and have worked as a summer camp counselor and volunteer basketball coach!
My pedagogy is focused on tailoring the learning experience to the individual student. For instance, when teaching a skill, the degree to which I rely on verbal explanation as opposed to hands-on manipulation and demonstration is adapted according to my student's ideal learning style. Fluent in English, French, and Bulgarian
Before the lesson, I will reach out online to inquire about goals and swimming experience. At the start of the lesson, I will evaluate your skills, then coach you through the appropriate skills that will help you progress towards your goals. After the lesson, I will check up on your experience and provide a list of things to work on.
A hidden neighborhood retreat, this bright indoor pool feels like a mini getaway. Sunlight pours through the large panel doors along one end, lighting up the sparkling blue water while giving swimmers a fun peek at the outdoors. The pool's gentle stair entry is perfect for toddlers easing into the water, and the gradual depth and long length allow everyone from beginners to confident swimmers to practice at their own pace. Just steps away, a newly renovated restroom, shower, and changing room make getting ready easy for parents juggling towels and goggles. Warm lighting, fresh facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere come together to create a safe, cheerful space where families and individuals can build skills, confidence, and happy memories in the water.
Pool access details are provided after you book.
