Hi! I’m the founder of Little Orcas Toronto, a private swimming business dedicated to helping kids and women of all ages and abilities feel confident, safe, and happy in the water. I’m a passionate swim instructor with over 5 years of competitive swimming and 10 years of competitive dragon boat experience, bringing strong water knowledge and technique expertise to every lesson. I specialize in teaching children, women, seniors, and swimmers with disabilities. I create custom lesson plans tailored to each student’s individual needs, ensuring every lesson is safe, effective, and empowering. Through my work with programs connected to Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, I’ve developed a compassionate teaching style that focuses on building trust, so swimmers feel comfortable and confident in the water. I’ve also taught swimming through the City of Toronto and school programs with the Toronto District School Board, giving me experience with a wide range of abilities and learning styles. What You Can Expect: - Structured, positive lessons broken into simple steps for steady progress - A calm, encouraging environment where swimmers learn at their own pace - Fun, engaging instruction while focusing on technique and water safety - Confidence-building strategies for children, adults, and swimmers with unique needs My mission is to make swimming accessible, enjoyable, and confidence-boosting for everyone.
