I had my first lesson with Meagan this week. As someone who has always been afraid of water, I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy my first lesson as much as I did. By the end, I didn’t want to get out of the pool. Meagan’s calm, patient, and encouraging approach made all the difference. From the very beginning, she took the time to understand my goals, answered all of my questions with patience and professionalism, and explained why building confidence in the water is the foundation before moving on to swimming strokes. I left the lesson feeling more at ease in the water than when I arrived, which is exactly what I was hoping for. I’m looking forward to continuing my lessons with her and seeing how my confidence grows.

Meagan is absolutely a great instructor! She makes excellent use of your time, is very calm and kind, and is very skilled at what she does. I still go for touch-up lessons every now and again just to polish up the skill, but she can teach safety and basic strokes pretty early on. I would recommend her to everyone in need of private/semi-private lessons.

I struggled to learn to swim in group classes, but Meagan's 1:1 teaching was friendly and productive. Highly recommended.
