SwimSwim lessons with Nina S.

I'm generally afraid of the water but Nina was amazing when teaching my partner and I! I stopped feeling as scared of the water which is a huge feat! Even though we were both newbies, she adjusted the difficulty level for each of us to further challenge us but never made us feel inadequate. Her explanations were clear, concise and really demonstrated on how to move our body in the water. We learned so much each session! We definitely recommend her and will be booking other sessions with her for sure!

Nina is a great swimming instructor! She is a great instructor, very patient, and encouraging! My swimming abilities and techniques have improved astronomically with her help.

For context I have had a bit of fear with water growing up and I decided that its time to face that fear and learn how to swim (As an adult). Nina was really encouraging and patient with me during each lesson which allowed me to instantly trust that I will be in good hands. She is really good with giving cues and progressions and it allowed me to take each drill one step at a time. I never thought I would trust water enough to float on my back but as soon as Nina gave me the right cues I was able to do it without hesitations and to me this is a huge accomplishment. I will continue to work and practice my swimming and remember what Nina has taught me with the time we had together! She made me realize that water isn't so scary after all and I have gained more confidence and trust in myself and now I always have the urge to want to be in water!

Nina is an amazing swimming instructor! My 12-year-old daughter had a fear of water. Nina is extremely patient and knew how to help my daughter gain confidence since the first session. The progress my little girl made in just a single session is just impressive. As a parent we were so impressed seeing our daughter excited and enjoying her session. She was able in two sessions to swim between 5 to 10 meters by herself. We will definitely recommend Nina and we will be booking other sessions with her for sure.

Nina helped me build the confidence I need in water and refine my skills. She gently challenged me to try new techniques. Great learning experience overall.
