Hi, I’m Andrew! You can find me lifeguarding the beaches in West Vancouver and swimming the ocean of Burrard Inlet. I'm a swim instructor certified in Swim for Life and Breaking Waves, dedicated to helping you soar in the water, no matter your level. Born and raised in Edmonton, I moved to Vancouver to chase the ocean’s flow, where I now teach with infectious energy and a style that gets results quicker. My experience spans diverse swimmers, delivering lessons that spark confidence, bravery, performance and a lot of fun! I ditch rigid scripts, using kinesiology, playful tactics, and/or even philosophy to unlock your swimming potential swiftly. With clear communication (great for English-second-language learners and children), I create a welcoming vibe where you’ll feel ready to dive in and shine and feel authentic in the water.
